Meet Vikki… – Plant & Play Road Show

My name is Vikki and welcome to the website for the new PLANT & PLAY ROAD SHOW that is NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK AT ANY LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE! This change now marks the closure of Plant & Play Wildlife Garden.

First bit about me. I have a Zoology degree from Queen’s University Belfast, I graduated in June 2013 before starting work as a training officer teaching City & Guilds Level 2 Work Based Horticulture.

Working with a diverse group of trainees across Northern Ireland, I guided over 40 candidates through the Level 2 qualification within a 6 month period. I have always had a keen interest in horticulture, conservation and teaching others. I have also acted as an assessor for the qualification during 2018.

I have over 12 years experience in the industry, working with families and children and developing fun and educational activities. I have assisted in training volunteers to develop biological survey skills, horticultural and practical conservation techniques. Prior to this, I spent 10 years working within the business industry, primarily in purchasing and administration.

I love what I do!! There is nothing more rewarding than having a job you are passionate about, teaching others about the great outdoors.

My qualifications include:

BSc (S) Zoology – Upper 2:1
Level 4 Management Diploma – Chartered Management Institute
HNC Business Administration

Emergency First Aid at Work (Updated yearly)

Paediatric First Aid (Updated yearly)
